Visit to Vegetable Market
This concept was taught theoretically as class room activity on 7th Nov, 2017. Later on 21st Nov, 2017 children were taken to market to give the practical knowledge about the concept ‘Currency’. Children were asked to bring the list of vegetables and glossary of which their mother needs. Later they were taken to vegetable market and they them self purchased the things according to their list and understood the exchange of currency and purchasing. This was their real life experience so that they can remember throughout their life.
Introduction Of Sports
Desi Sport Kabbadi was introduced in BIS. So, on 25th Nov, Kabbadi rules and regulation were taught to children and later house wise Kabbadi was practiced alone with the staff to increase the team spirit.
Visit To Post Office
The visit to Post Office made children to have real experience and had the awareness of Post Office. The post master Mr. Lamani Sir explained about the post box, stamps, inland, card and saving accounts, RD’s and how letters are sorted and delivered and what is speed post and register post. Even sir explained about government scheme ‘Sukanya’.
Calligraphy Competition
There was a English calligraphy competition on 4th Dec, all the students from UKG to Grade V participated. The output of this competition was good. So on 5th Dec, all the staff decided and gave gift to students and motivated.
